
Well seasoned with moderate spiciness, this cajun blackened salmon has big flavors and requires very little preparation. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper if you like it more spicy!

Ingredients for Cajun Blackened Salmon:
- Salmon fillets, 4, 600-700 gram total
- Paprika, 1 Tablespoon
- Onion powder, 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
- Oregano, 1 teaspoon
- Sea salt, ½ teaspoon
- Ground black pepper, ¼ teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper, ⅛ teaspoon
- Olive oil, 2 Tablespoon
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions for grilling cajun salmon:
1.Pat dry salmon fillets with paper towels.
2.Combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, sea salt, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
3.Coat salmon fillets with the seasoning on both sides.
4.Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
5.Cook the salmon fillets for about 5 minutes with the skin side down. Flip to the other side and cook for several more minutes until the surface is blackened.
6.Serve with lemon wedges or parsley.
