Ingredients for Garlic Lemon Chicken

  • Chicken legs with skin, 8
  • Onion, 1, sliced
  • Garlic, minced, 1/4 Cup
  • Lemon juice, 4 Tablespoon
  • Sea salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano, 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander, 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika, 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin, 1 teaspoon
  • Ground pepper, 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil, 3 Tablespoon
  • Greek yogurt, 3 Tablespoon
  • Lemon, 2, slices
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions for Garlic Lemon Chicken

1.Mince garlic and slice onion and lemon.

2.In a large bowl, combine sea salt, oregano, coriander, paprika, cumin, ground pepper, olive oil, greek yogurt, lemon juice. Marinate chicken legs and onion in the mix. Leave for three hours.

3. Preheat the oven to 220˚C or 430˚F.

4. In a baking pan, spread out marinated chicken legs, onion and lemon slices and bake for 35 minutes.

5. Broil for a couple of minutes until the skin turns crispy.

6. Garnish with more lemon slices and chopped parsley.
