Ingredients for Tofu Lettuce Wrap

  • Firm tofu, 500-600 gram
  • Tamari sauce, 1/4 Cup
  • Brown sweetener, low-carb, 4 Tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar, 3 Tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced, 2 teaspoon
  • Ginger, minced, 1 Tablespoon
  • Red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Scallions, chopped, 1 Tablespoon
  • Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
  • Lettuce, a bunch

Instructions for Tofu Lettuce Wrap

1.Take tofu blocks out of the package and drain water. Pat dry using kitchen towel. Leave something heavy on top to take out excess water for 15 minutes.

2.Dice or crumble tofu.

3.In a small bowl, make sauce by mixing tamari sauce, sweetener, and vinegar.

4.Oil a large pan and stir fry diced or crumbled tofu for a few minutes. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir fry until they become soft.

5.Pour the sauce over tofu and combine well. Let the tofu absorb the sauce.

6.Sprinkle red pepper flakes and chopped scallions. Drizzle some sesame oil toward the end.

7.Turn off the stove. Serve the tofu mixture on lettuce leaves.
